Back in 2017, I was invited to strategie per le opzioni digitali John Lewis in http://mohsen.ir/?danilov=الخÙ ارات-الثÙ ائÙ Ø©-إشارات-التابعة-لها Cardiff to experience a go to link Charlotte Tilbury Magic Skin Clinic facial in their beauty/treatment room. This treatment isn’t a permanent fixture, but they’re available as part of a special event within the store from time to time.
I was pretty excited as I’d never had a facial before (shocker) or used any http://ny.ithu.se/tag/blended/feed/ Charlotte Tilbury products (double shocker) but I’d obviously heard plenty about the brand through word of mouth and social media.
I’m not going to lie, it’s a strange experience going into a busy city centre department store for a facial. Mainly because I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to wear make-up or not, but I did in the end because I didn’t fancy walking through town without a scrap on. I guess I’m quite insecure about my skin, and considering the beauty hall in http://wallakra.com/?santavswediya=k%C3%B6p-Tadalafil-online-flashback&e98=76 John Lewis is intimidating enough even with a full face of slap, I simply couldn’t bring myself to brave the bright lights bare faced.
Upon my arrival, I was greeted by get link Team Tilbury and taken to the beauty room by http://www.sme-ae.it/?bioske=opzioni-binarie-trendline&38b=26 Sarah, the concession manager and facialist. The room was intimate, with beautifully soft lighting which perfectly illuminated the display of follow url Charlotte Tilbury skincare products in all of their white and rose gold glory.
follow site Sarah put on some classic relaxation/spa music and began by ever so gently removing my makeup with the click here Multi-Miracle Glow Cleanser, Mask & Balm. Glycerin is the first ingredient in this balm which ensures hydrated and soft skin, which is exactly what I need.
I explained my skin care concerns, such as mild rosacea and acne. go Sarah went on to use the http://captainaugust.com/?koooas=opzioni-digitali-su-fineco&fda=99 Goddess Skin Clay Mask which contains Frangipani extract. A flower which I’d never heard of before that apparently helps reduce redness and is a product that Charlotte Tilbury herself uses every morning before applying her makeup.
I was left to relax with the mask on for fifteen minutes while the kaolin clay tackled the impurities in my skin. I love a clay mask, I used to make my own but after I stained my skin yellow using turmeric powder, I haven’t tried again.
Once the clay mask had run its course, it was time for the facial massage using the notorious Charlotte’s Magic Cream and at £70 for a 50ml pot, it should be magic. If you’ve ever watched or read an interview with Charlotte Tilbury, then you’ll know the story behind this cream. She created the special potion backstage at photo shoots and fashion shows to prep models skin. Loved by all who were lucky enough to try it, it became an instant hit with celebrities and clients who told Charlotte she should bottle it and sell it and that’s exactly what she did. A fancy cream and a genius bit of marketing.
It did feel great on my skin and Sarah told me that since she started using Charlotte’s Magic Cream, she’s been able to cut her skin care steps in half because the cream really packs a punch and delivers better results than using a handful of other products. Who doesn’t love a quicker routine before bed?
Glancing over the ingredient list, which is long, it’s easy to see why it’s more expensive in price than your bog standard moisturiser. There’s plenty of flower and seed extracts, vitamin c, aloe, shea butter and humectants. If you’re not into fragrance, it’s probably best to skip this one. Although it has natural fragrances, they can still irritate skin especially if you have particularly sensitive skin such as rosacea.
Once the facial was over, I gathered up my things and headed to the Charlotte Tilbury section of the beauty hall. I took a look in the mirror and my skin did appear slightly less red than usual. To the touch, my skin felt silky smooth and super soft. I probably should have left it there, and walked to my car bare-faced to soak in the goodness but the insecure nag in my head told me I needed a bit of foundation.
Sarah happily obliged with some very light and natural base, which is all I really wanted. She used the Wonderglow face primer, the Healthy Glow tinted moisturiser and covered up some of my redness with The Retoucher Conceal & Treat Stick. It felt great, but when I looked in my car mirror, I could see that it wasn’t the right shade for me. I often find that with tinted moisturisers or BB creams, they end up being a touch too orange for me and unfortunately this wasn’t an exception.
Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and it was great to finally try out some Charlotte Tilbury skincare and makeup products.
